Literally one of the best books I have ever read! As someone who is diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome, it's hard to even capture in words how amazing it feels to see TS represented so well and accurately in a book. Britney did an excellent job of capturing how tics feel, and also the emotions that are connected with tics and also the way we hold onto these key "moments" or interactions. It's just really awesome to see this in a book! So well written and does an excellent job of catering to wide range of audiences. For those who don't have TS, it is quite educational and accurately depicts how it feels to live with TS and the daily associated challenges, while also providing concrete ways to support someone with TS. For those diagnosed and living with TS, it is an empowering book that reminds you that TS does not have to limit you, and that we are not alone! Powerful writing and book all around!
