I am not usually a huge fan of choose you're own adventure tales as I feel there is a lack of character development, however, Peter completely nailed it. He manages to keep the 'YOU' character blank enough for any reader to feel engaged while infusing the writing with tons of character and wit. The work-building is complex and exciting. I really hope he decided to take this world further and write a novel series based on it. Set in a futuristic drowned-city, we must use our wits to navigate an assortment of dangers including pirates, roguish thugs and wild beasts. A fantastic read for young and old.
