Howard Zinn is my hero! Reading anything he's written is to learn some of the actual history of our Country; sadly, it continues into the present with little changed. I would have loved to have been one of his students; those lucky enough to be in his classes received a real education on the way things were/are. We're blessed to have his books and CDs. A clear mind, integrity, passion about Truth, and a gutsy outspokenness. Would his courses be allowed in this day and age of Common Core? Hardly.
