Pastor Lastinger was my Pastor at the First Assembly of God in Gainesville during the early to mid 1980's.Though I was only under his leadership for a few short years, his impact on my life has had an everlasting impact that lasts to this day. His ministry molded me in ways that I am still realizing to this day.This book is so Pastor Lastinger! It is a perfect portrayal of he and his ministry. The contents in this book are exactly as the man I knew. You will laugh and cry. The book is a very enjoyable read and I could not imagine anyone not enjoying it or getting something out of it! Many of the stories he shares I had heard before but there were a couple of really big surprises, things that happened under my nose that I never knew.One final note, Pastor Lastinger went home to glory on December 8th, 2015 and is now enjoying living in the presence of our Father. There will never be another like him.
