Jill Gregory's previous Lonesome Way books caught my attention because I love small town stories where everyone knows everyone, grew up with everyone, and look out for each other. Blackbird Lake continues the story. Carly and Jake meet one night two years ago and don't see each other until Jake comes home for a visit. Jake finds out Carly has something of his and they try to work out their relationship. I really like Jill Gregory's characters. They're very believable and fun to get to know as the story goes on. A great read!
