This book is a delightful to read for your kids and also for your own reading. We actually met the author in July, 2008 on Pensacola Beach, FL guarding sea turtle eggs about to hatch. She was so nice to teach my kids about sea turtles. Kirsten is as delightful in person as she is portrayed in the book. If you are interested in sea turtles or other marine life or want you or your kids to become interested, it is a great book to read.
