Every now and again I read a book that goes to the top of my keeper bookshelf because it was so good that I can't keep in off my mind. "Somewhere Along the Way" is one of those books. It's heartwarming, suspenseful, and fun.I got hooked on the residents of Harmony, Texas, in the first book "Welcome to Harmony," and highly recommend the second in this compelling and exciting series about small town Texas.Reagan Moore has become a part of the almost extinct Truman family. She's now 18 and has made a home for herself in Harmony and in the heart of her grumpy Uncle Jeremiah. The whole town has changed and grown. Everyone, from the third generation funeral director who can't remember names to the feisty Sheriff, Alexandra Allen, and even the tough Fire Chief, Hank Mathison, find their way and work together when Reagan's safety is put in jeopardy.Along with the cast of characters I fell in love with in "Welcome to Harmony", Jodi Thomas introduces some new, exciting folks in this story of love and growth. My personal favorites are sexy Ex-Army Special Forces and U.S. Air Marshall, Lt. Denver Sims, and the mysterious Gabe Leary. This is a must read!
