I purchased this product through a different vendor but it's the same product. My old trailer connection included a 7-5 adapter, then a flat-5 extension - having all those connections plugged together caused corrosion - so I decided to simplify and purchase this adapter to go directly from the 7-way outlet to the trailer harness which is a flat-5. It feels like a heavy duty cable as compared to the old adapters that I had. This round, I'll definitely use some dielectric grease to protect the connectors... but I'm happy to have the boat ready to tow again!
